सितारगंज। विकास खंड स्थित गोविंदपुर ग्राम में शनिवार को जिलाधिकारी युगल किशोर पन्त ने 157.72 लाख रुपये की लागत से 2.1 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल के अमृत सरोवर (तालाब) एंव जल पुनर्भरण संरचना का लोकार्पण किया। इस अवसर पर बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामवासी, ग्राम प्रधान श्रीमती अमरजीत कौर, तालाब जीर्णोधार और जल पुनर्भरण की संरचनाओं हेतु सहयोगी कम्पनी रैकिट बैंकाईजर के प्रतिनिधिगण और कार्यकारी संस्था पार्टनर्स इन प्रोस्पेरिटी के वरिष्ठ सहयोगीगण उपस्थित थे। इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी ने तालाब लोकार्पण के साथ-साथ फलदार पौधों का रोपण भी किया।
इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी युगल किशोर पन्त ने कहा कि देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में लगातार भूजल स्तर गिर रहा है। सभी को जल की कीमत और महत्व को समझना होगा, क्योंकि जल ही जीवन है और जल है तो कल है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा भूजल स्तर बना रहे और आने वाली पीढ़ियों को भी भूजल मिले, इसके लिए हमे जल का मितव्ययता से उपयोग करना चाहिए। हमे जल संरक्षण एंव संवर्धन की दिशा में सामूहिक प्रयास करने होंगे। जिलाधिकारी ने रैकिट बैंकाईजर और पार्टनर्स इन प्रोस्पेरिटी के प्रयासों की सराहना की और ग्रामवासियों को तालाब और उसके महत्व बताते हुए अपनी शुभकामनायें दी।
गौरतलब है कि विशाल क्षेत्र में फैले इस तालाब की गहराई ज्यादा नहीं थी और वर्षा होते ही आस पास की कृषि भूमि जलमग्न और अनुपयोगी हो जाती थी। सितारगंज सिडकुल स्थित रैकिट बैंकाईजर ने इस तालाब के गहरीकरण और भूजल पुनर्भरण के माध्यम से भूजल स्तर की स्थिति में सुधार लाने हेतु हल्द्वानी स्थित पार्टनर्स इन प्रोस्पेरिटी नामक संस्था का सहयोग लिया। जिस तालाब की औसत गहराई आधा मीटर हुआ करती थी उसे 2.5 मीटर गहरा किया और तालाब के समीप ही जल पुनर्भरण केतु 2 रिचार्ज संरचनाओं का भी निर्माण किया जिससे भूजल स्तर में सुधार किया जा सके | इन कार्यों से हर वर्ष 72000 घन मीटर जल का पुनर्भरण संभव हो सकेगा। तालाब को मजबूती देने हेतु संरचना के चारों और वृक्षारोपण भी किया गया है। साथ ही साथ जल संरचनाओं के रखरखाव हेतु जल एवं पर्यावरण समूह का गठन कर, गाँव की महिलाओं को जागरूक किया गया। ग्राम स्थित विद्यालय में छात्रों के साथ कई सत्र आयोजित किये गए जिससे उनमे भी इन संरचनाओं के प्रति जानकारी बढे और वे इन संसाधनों के महत्व को समझ कर इनकी देखरेख में अपना योगदान दे सकें। गाँव के अधिकतर परिवार जो कृषि पर निर्भर हैं उन्हें जल कुशल तकनीकों जैसे श्री विधि, एकांतर गीला और सूखा पद्यति पर प्रशिक्षित किया गया और कृषकों को AWD tube भी उपलब्ध कराये गए।
अच्छी पैदावार के लिए कृषक विभिन्न दवाओं और उर्वरकों के विकल्प के उपयोग से कृषि की लागत को इतना बढ़ा देते हैं की लाभांश बहुत कम रह जाता है, ऐसे में कुछ ग्रामीण महिलाओं को पन्त नगर विश्वविद्यालय में मृदा परीक्षण हेतु प्रशिक्षित किया गया और मृदा परीक्षण केतु किट भी उपलब्ध कराये गए। जिससे महिलाओं ने 100 मृदा नमूनों की जांच संपन्न कर ली है जिसके आधार पर वे कृषि में उपयोग होने वाले व्यय को नियंत्रित कर पाने में सहयोग करेंगी। ग्रामवासियों को फलदार पौधे भी वितरित किये जा रहे हैं।
