किच्छा। उत्तराखंड पुलिस के पुलिस महानिदेशक अशोक कुमार के निर्देश मे प्रदेश मे चलाए जा रहे नशा मुक्ति अभियान के अन्तर्गत ऊधम सिंह नगर की किच्छा कोतवाली पुलिस ने मुखबिर खास द्वारा सूचना मिली की प्रयागफार्म क्षेत्र मे एक व्यक्ति द्वारा अफीम की खेती की जा रही है, जिसके बाद मौके पर पहुचीं टीम ने खेत स्वामी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस अधिकारी ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मुखबिर खास द्वारा मिली सूचना के आधार पर कोतवाल अशोक कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व मे पहुंची पुलिस टीम ने खेत स्वामी अशरारुल हक से अफीम खेती का लाईसेंस की मांग की तो आरोपी अशरारुल हक कागज नही दिखा सका। जिसके बाद पुलिस टीम ने 2 किलोग्राम ताजा पोस्त एवं 12 किलोग्राम अफीम के पौधों के साथ अशरारुल हक को गिरफ्तार कर विभिन्न धाराओं में मामला दर्ज कर आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस टीम द्वारा बरामद अफीम के पौधे एवं पोस्त की कीमत 10 लाख रूपये बताई जा रही है।
