India completed its 75 years of independence this 15th August. The whole nation celebrated this as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.These 8 decades of Independence, India faced alot of ups and downs yet it emerged as a powerful nation in front of the world. Behind this freedom, there is a struggle of our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives so that the future generations can breathe the air of independence. The wheel of time revolved and India moved ahead from zero to become one of the powerful countries of the world.

India’s emerging power can be gauged from the fact that when Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on 24 February, the whole world started talking about peace. Thw whole World had eyes on India to hear its view point and the way India stood was appreciated by the world.

After the visit of the foreign ministers of Austria and Greece to India in March, Victoria Nuland, the US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs, also visited New Delhi. Not only this, America’s deputy NSA Dalip Singh also came during this time. During this, on March 25, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also came to India on his unexpected visit.. This was the first visit of a top Chinese leader to India after a long time. Then Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also visited New Delhi.

These are the examples how India’s value have increased in last few years. For the last two and a half years, the world is facing the brunt of the corona epidemic and during this time, apart from the vaccine, India had sent essential things like masks, PPE kits etc. to the world as a help. Although it is also a fact that India’s position was not very good in the production and availability of masks, PPE kits and other essential medical items before the start of the Corona crisis, but soon the country was in this situation to be a helping hand for the world.

When the world was going through the pandemic India successfully traced its impression. India set an example in the form of better covid management. Apart from neighboring countries, it also provided help to other countries in times of crisis.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is to make India a world leader by 2047 till the completion of 100 years of independence. The next 25 years are very important for the country because we have to move forward while facing many new challenges. The next goal of the country will be to prepare itself as a developed nation.
